Last night I just realized that this drawing is a self-portrait. When I was perusing more of my Sharpie craze stuff, trying to decide what to post next, I noticed this drawing was immediately followed by this. It's almost like the above work is an unconscious representation of the state of my mind that led to the crazed death porno work.
Here it is, over 7 years later and I'm still having to figure this shit out.
You know, maybe its just the holiday season but I'm seeing a beardless santa in a sick twisted christmas complete with xmas trees, elf porn, and the everseeing eye...spying on all those children of the 3rd dimension.

I'm laughing out loud at Mr. Gable's comment right now. You do look a bit like the Grinch in this piece, now that I think of it.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to make of this, other than it's complete insanity and I mean that in the best possible way. I love so many things about it. The eyeball, of course. The different textures. The sharp edges contrasting with the flowing lines. The monster head coming out of your head. The obligatory private parts. It's phenomenal. You really should be selling your stuff, if you aren't already.
Gable: Man, I think you're primed and ready to write something that's totally off the hook. I'm looking forward to next week on your blog!
