fuzzy skeletonians redux #4

(ADULT CONTENT BELOW)

Much like the undead creatures it depicts, this damn redux series just won't die (god, I hate typing that subject line!).  Anyway, thanks to God, Greyhound and Tim Thomerson my drawing/painting hand is feeling just fine and here's my latest, hot off the scanner.

Maybe I'm just flattering myself but I think this fuzzy skellie in particular is the most badass of the redux series thus far.  I was very happy to be creating something new for the final stretch of Octoberween and I put my enthusiasm to work, giving this guy all the energy I could.

Tune in tomorrow for my latest watercolor creation.  Woot!

  1. Your right, he is really badass. It looks like he's preparing for war or right in the middle of some over-budgeted fight. And it's awesome.

  2. Also...Tim Thomerson can cure anything.

  3. Hiya. I stumbled upon your blog and I really dig your stuff. Love it, in fact, and I plan on checking back to see more. Have you ever heard of the artist Tom Huck? He is a woodcut printmaker and I think you'd really dig his work. The themes are similarly dark, and I mean that in a good way, of course.

  4. Gable: If Thomerson was a whacked out, flaming warlord skeleton this is the one he'd be. Except he'd wear sunglasses at night while doing his laundry (just holler if I'm taking this Thomerson thing too far :P).

KATN: Welcome and thanks for the kind words! I've never heard of Tom Huck but I just found his website and I'll have to take a closer look when I have more time. Thanks for the tip.

  5. Jesus god, this is good. I am maybe not 100% a fan of the squigglies in the background but only because I think it detracts from the terrific body work, especially the head and torso.
